More family fun for Jennifer Garner as she takes her adorable daughters for a day out at the zoo

By DAILY MAIL REPORTER

How cute: Jennifer Garner takes her 21-old-month daughter Seraphina to a Santa Monica petting zoo yesterday

It was certainly a fun filled weekend for Jennifer Garner's two young daughters.
After a Saturday spent on the soccer pitch with four year-old Violet and Seraphina, 21 months, the actress yesterday took the two youngsters to a petting zoo in the Santa Monica area of Los Angeles.

There the family met roosters and sheep, with little Seraphina getting particularly close to one woolly friend.

Garner was casually dressed for the unseasonably chilly Los Angeles temperatures, wearing a warm padded black coat and jeans.

However there was no sign of husband Ben Affleck who is busy promoting his latest film The Town.

It seems that the girls are quite big fans of farm animals, with Seraphina apparently keen on a themed costume for Halloween.

'It seems like every time we ask her, it's a different farm animal,' Garner recently told People Magazine.

'[Violet] has a very clear idea, but it's contingent upon my younger daughter.

'Costumes are not ready in my house. Now, I'm realising I need to at least get the orders in.'

The actress, who has been busy filming new comedy remake Arthur with Russell Brand and Helen Mirren, also talked about the challenges of motherhood.

No matter what, it is very tricky and difficult – just to be a good parent at all,' she said. 'I have a lot of help. And for that I'm very grateful.'
